If you live in the area near Lubbock, Texas and you’re looking for something fun to do this summer, the Lubbock CritterFest 2016 is coming up soon at the end of June. This year’s theme is “Close Encounters of the Exotic Kind,” allowing kids and adults alike to experience popular attractions like animal rides, a petting zoo, and more.

 The “Close Encounters of the Exotic Kind” show features African lions and Bengal tigers, which is dedicated not only to showcasing the big cats’ intelligence, but also to educating audiences about conservation efforts. Tickets give you access to the show, as well as all other attractions associated with the exhibit and general Museum admission to everything the Omni Spectrum & Science Theater has to offer.

 The event takes place at the Science Spectrum & Omni Theater from June 23rd to June 26th. Showtimes are every day at 1:00 PM, 3:00 PM, and 5:00 PM in the Exhibit Hall. For the general public, children and seniors are $10.00 each, while adults are $12.50. If you are a member of the Theater, adult tickets are $4.50 while children are $3.50. Kids under 2 get in free.
